The ‘Naked’ Injectable

Like other neurotoxins, Xeomin® consists of the neurotoxin, botulinum toxin type A, but is stripped of the additional proteins and ingredients originally produced in Botox® and other neurotoxin brands. Given its one simple ingredient, it has become known as the “naked injectable” and it is seen by some as a more clean and simplified version of Botox® that also offers similar benefits and results.

 

Common FAQs

  • Both neurotoxins contain botulinum toxin type A, however, Botox® has additional proteins whereas Xeomin® doesn’t. Results, treatment areas, and longevity are typically the same.

  • When you book a Xeomin® appointment with one of our licensed Aesthetic Nurse Injectors in Libertyville, IL, the biggest part of your appointment will be consulting with your injector to ensure that your aesthetic goals are completely met when you walk out of our office. After that, treatment will usually take less than 30 minutes!

  • Xeomin injections will last about 3-4 months depending on the treatment area and patient.
